Q: I like what I’ve seen of your work. What’s next?
A: Contact me via email, Facebook, phone, even text to let me know you’d like for me to set aside time for you. We can discuss what your vision is for our session and possible locations that would suit your personality. I can come to your home or suggest other locations in our area that will reflect your own personal style.
Q: How much of an investment will this be?
A: Session fees start at $125 for a portraits (family or individual) and payment is due at the shoot. Prints start at $4 for a 4×6 and move upward from there. A CD of selected low-resolution images is also available for $50, for which you will have printing rights. Contact me for additional pricing for locations outside Daviess and surrounding counties.
For sessions that may last longer than an hour or two, please contact me so we can determine what needs you have and how I can best meet them.
Q: How long will it take for me to have my finished products?
A: The shoot typically lasts 1-2 hours, from which I usually end up with hundreds of images. I will examine each photograph, choosing the best for you to view. Expect a sneak peek posted to Facebook within three days (often sooner!) and proofs to be posted to your own online gallery within ten days. Once you’ve made your selections online and submitted your order, you can typically expect your prints and other products to be in your hands in seven to ten days.
Q: Why bother paying for photographs? Isn’t that something anyone with a camera can do?
A: The short answer is yes, anyone can do it. However, I have gradually invested in the proper equipment that will deliver quality products and am constantly learning more to improve my skills and abilities. Each image produced is a culmination of several hours of practice with my camera and computer, several hours of research, and several hours of creative brainstorming for creative ideas for clients. My mission is to serve clients by creating sessions that showcase a real slice of time in their lives.
